Meet our new Rue baby!

Standard

I used to run home with frogs in paper cups. I once tried to smuggle a kitten in the house in my back pack. And we had a German shepherd I considered more like a sister than a dog. I’ve always been obsessed with helping animals. I guess I haven’t grown out of it. We (meaning I, before I had a chance to ask sky if it was ok, I knew he would though) thought it would be nice for us to foster a dog. B picked this gorgeous girl. She’s a year old boxer lab mix and has already had a litter of puppies.

20130618-065506.jpgI’m almost ready for my last phase of my dog psychology courses so I thought having her at our house and working with her would help her find a home. Turns out she’s better behaved than Eden.

About rachelmikell

I grew up in Ogden, Utah. I graduated high school in 2009 and met my husband a year and a half later while we were both going to school at Weber State University. We got married and moved to Niceville, Florida in 2011. We spent nine amazing months living on the beach while he was in training for the military. In October 2012 our son was born. A week later we moved to Clarksville, Tennessee, where my husband is now stationed. I get to spend my days with my sweet boy and sometimes find the time to do fun projects, paint, and decorate our first home. I've never felt more blessed and I'm so lucky I get to share this life with my beautiful family!
